Our delicious fresh sweet and tender asparagus is grown on our family farm (est. 1907) at Innisfail AB in an environmentally responsible manner and all handpicked for quality assurance. We will be at The Old Strathcona Farmer’s Market the first Saturday in May until Junes’ end with our delectable homemade asparagus pickles, asparagus relish and asparagus soup. We will have our famous asparagus at the booth just as soon as the soil warms enough to encourage those first tender shoots to pop out of the ground. Historically we have started picking as early as May 3 and as late as May 25.
