Shirley started selling at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market way back in 1989. Her hobby started in her hometown of Smoky Lake, Alberta ,where her mother and mother-in-law taught her how to decorate eggs the traditional way. They would sit near a wood stove to keep the bees wax in liquid form.
Shirley thanks all her customers, new and old, for supporting her at the market.
